What do we do when we've worked enough to afford some time away from work? We work! For fun! Here are a few of the various projects that Dan Leininger (the owner) has been working on.

Happy Fun Planet

Happy Fun Planet is an New Orleans / Boston-based start-up creating practical mechanisms for curiosity-based online learning. We are building applications and data structures which will allow our users to better understand the fundamental nature of knowledge and the relevant relationships between millions of concepts. These applications will become integral in facilitating our users’ practical educational goals. Our ultimate aim is to help in existing efforts towards affordable education for everyone.

Traffic Light Stories

Developing both a portal and mobile applications to allow users to upload, moderate, and vote on short 30-60 second audio clips of stories, jokes, etc. and assign those clips to intersections in a city or town. On the mobile side, users will be able kill time at red-lights listening to progressing stories, jokes, random facts, or whatever 'personality' the intersection they're in has.
